We are currently recruiting for two Site Security/Cleaning Supervisors to work at The Quadrant Shopping Centre
Main Function of the role
The main role of the Supervisors will be to oversee the day to day operational in line with customer and contractual expectations. In doing so, the Supervisors will supervise operational needs and requirements by providing strong visible leadership, demonstrating professionalism and integrity working together as a part of the site security and cleaning team to ensure a consistent high-quality service delivery and prompt response to all security and cleaning related incidents.
Statement of duties – Operational (You will be responsible for but not limited too)
To pro-actively work together and supervise security and cleaning requirements ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with bespoke Client procedures and policies and take responsibility for professional conduct and development.
Weekly and monthly KPI reports.
Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and manage conflicting demands
To act as a key contact for all daily operational Security/Cleaning matters liaising with the Centre manager, to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to Security and Cleaning delivery of the professional services; escalating issues appropriately.
To work in partnership with the client representatives and service partners.
To manage the deployment of the Security/Cleaning by way of forward planning and co-ordination, allocation and supervision through the compiling of rosters.
Ensuring that tasks and breaks are performed correctly and ensure that regular security post visits are conducted.
Managing and directing the response at time of an incident e.g. evacuation or fire alarms in public and ‘restricted’ areas and provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities e.g. conducting dynamic risk assessments, liaison with emergency services.
Completing daily audits, weekly and monthly KPI and communicating the results to the Site manager
Personal criteria – Essential
Valid SIA license required
Driving License requied
Strong leadership abilities with previous experience in a supervisory role
Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Proven reliability including an ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, being able to adapt style to meet the needs of the situation
Self-motivated and able to maintain a high standard of personal presentation
An ability to think and act quickly in emergencies and/or under pressure
A willingness to work cooperatively and constructively
An ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal reports
A flexibility to work shifts including weekends
An ability to demonstrate proactive and innovative thinking introducing this to the workplace
Competent on Microsoft packages
Physically able to carry out duties
Please note: Applicants who are not able to demonstrate possession of a current SIA Licence & evidence of prior supervisory experience in the security/cleaning industry within their application, will not be considered.
We offer a range of flexible benefits including:
Holiday: 20 days (Both Supervisors must cover each others holidays)
Pay rate: £9.5 ph
Hours – 42 Hours per week average working 12hr shifts on a 4 on 4 off Rota.

We are also currently recruiting for a Weekend Cleaning Operative
Must be trustworthy, reliable, enthusiastic and confident in their duties.
Hours of Work, Every Sat & Sun, Time 07:00-12:00 and must be flexible to cover holidays or sickness.
Sweeping, mopping and polishing of hard floor areas
Vacuuming carpets and furnishings
Cleaning, wiping, dusting and polishing of surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture
Empty waste bins, removing rubbish to collection areas
Cleaning toilet areas fittings and fixtures
Clean internal glazing to keep substantially free from dirt, marks and deposits
Securing the windows in all unoccupied areas, if required
Responsibility for all keys held for access purposes & ensuring their safe return (if required)
Security of the cleaning store
Reporting all accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences to Manager/ Supervisor
Attending training and meetings as arranged and directed
Wear protective clothing and uniform as issued
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience advantageous but not essential (training is provided)
Possesses the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
You will need to be energetic, punctual, and reliable with a proactive approach to your work
